Magnetic is still wired

The EnergyFort straight magnetic USB-C adapter provides a detachable physical connector for compatible USB-C devices, including an iPhone 18 Pro setup. It is not Qi or MagSafe wireless charging; power passes through contacts.

Charging specifications require a complete chain

The adapter listing describes PD3.1 compatibility and a maximum 240W rating plus 480Mbps data. This is an adapter-side capacity claim, not a promise of 240W on an iPhone.

Reproducing fast-charge conditions

The original EnergyFort guide cites Apple's qualifying 60W-or-higher USB-C cable and AVS-capable power adapter for its specified iPhone 18 Pro fast-charge result. Adding magnetic connections may affect performance; a direct compatible cable is the more certain baseline when optimizing speed.

Check the phone case

A thick case or narrow port opening can prevent a magnetic tip from seating fully. Compare housing clearance and ensure the tip contacts firmly before regular use.

Daily convenience and limitations

Leaving the appropriate tip in a device can reduce repeated manual plugging, but does not prove port protection under all loads. Avoid contamination of exposed contacts and do not rely on magnet retention to support the phone's weight.

Choose other components carefully

Use a properly rated USB-C cable and charger, checking E-Marker requirements for high-power use. An adapter does not add a cable's missing video protocol or improve a limited source port.
