Straight, 90-Degree or U-Shaped Magnetic USB-C? Choose by Clearance

Shape changes routing, not the charger
These three EnergyFort magnetic adapters address different cable directions. A straight connector projects out from the port; a 90-degree one turns alongside the device; and a U-shaped one loops back toward the device body. Their geometry helps with different space limitations.

Straight for open, mixed-device setups
A straight adapter keeps a simple conventional cable path. It may be easiest when moving between several devices or when there is ample room around the charging port.

90 degrees for gaming and tight spaces
A right-angle adapter can route the wire away from a hand while gaming or from adjacent furniture. The original product family has different directional variants; check the port orientation before choosing.

U-shaped for close-to-body routing
A U-shaped option makes the wire return toward a tablet, handheld device or power bank, reducing outward projection. It is more sensitive to case thickness, port depth and chassis shape; verify the exact clearance.

Power versus data
The EnergyFort models are described for compatible PD3.1 charging up to their specified 240W capability, with up to 480Mbps data. None of these numbers guarantees power received by the device or high-speed USB4/DisplayPort video.

Magnetic contact safety
The detachable magnetic tip requires clean contact surfaces and secure alignment. Check for dust, debris or constant sideways cable pull, and never rely on the connection to support device weight.
Frequently asked questions
Does U-shaped mean faster charging? No. Is a straight connector always the most compact? It depends on clearance. Does 90 degrees work on every port orientation? No. Does a case affect U-shaped fit? Yes. Can I connect a monitor through every adapter? Not established by their 480Mbps data specifications. Is magnetic connection wireless charging? No. Does 240W mean any phone takes 240W? No. Is clean contact important? Yes.
Buying decision
Prioritize socket direction and available space; then confirm case fit, cable route, power compatibility, and the exact variant.
